Jewell Herzog (née Phillips; 15 January 1894 – 10 May 2004) was an American supercentenarian whose age is validated by Gerontology Research Group (GRG).
Biography[]
Jewell Herzog was born as Jewell Phillips in Stevens, Sherman County, Texas, USA on 15 January 1894. She married Edwin August Herzog. The couple had at least one daughter: Edna Johnson (1932–2013). She got widowed in 1970.
Jewell Herzog died in Dallas, Texas, USA on 10 May 2004 at the age of 110 years, 116 days. At the time of her death, she was one of the oldest living people in Texas and in the top 50 oldest living people in the USA.
