Joanna Lipinska [Polish: Joanna Lipińska] (18 August 1910 – 6 March 2022) was a Polish supercentenarian who is currently unvalidated by the Gerontology Research Group (GRG). At the time of her death, she was the oldest known living person in Greater Poland, and the third-oldest known living person in Poland, behind Tekla Juniewicz and Stanislaw Kowalski.

Biography[]

Joanna Lipinska was born in German Empire (now Greater Poland Voivodeship, Poland) on 18 August 1910. She turned 110 on 18 August 2020. Reportedly, she still walked around the garden next to her house, which she tended herself until a few years ago. Politics had been her hobby. She believed that as a Pole she needs to know what was happening in her country. She read the national press passionately, watched TV, she had her opinion on present affairs.

Lipinska died in Wronki, Greater Poland Voivodeship, Poland on 6 March 2022 at the age of 111 years, 200 days.
