Joe Veselsky (born 20 October 1918) is an Slovakian-Irish centenarian who is currently the oldest known living Slovakian-born man as well as the oldest known living man in Ireland.
Biography[]
Joe Veselsky was born in Trnava, Austria-Hungary (now Slovakia) on 20 October 1918. He later emigrated to Ireland.
In October 2018, he celebrated his 100th birthday and became a centenarian.
He became the oldest known living Slovakian-born man, following the death of 104-year-old Frantisek Bohacik on 2 October 2021.
He became the oldest known living man in Ireland, following the death of 108-year-old Martin McEvilly on 9 October 2024.
Joe Veselsky currently lives in Dublin, Ireland at the age of 106 years, 45 days. He is currently the oldest known living man in Dublin.
