Joe Willie Hollins (19 August 1906 – 23 September 2018) was an American supercentenarian whose age is currently unvalidated by the Gerontology Research Group (GRG).
Biography
Hollins was born in the United States on 19 August 1906. He lived in Coahoma County, Mississippi for 109 years, prior to moving to Memphis where he spend his last 3 years. He married Rosie William Oats Hollins and had 3 children: Lueretta Batton, Irene Hollins and Eddie Mae Ratcliffe. At the time of death, he was the 2nd oldest living man in the United States, behind Richard Overton.
Hollins died in Memphis, Tennessee, USA, on 23 September 2018, at the age of 112 years, 35 days.
