John William Douglas (2 August 1904/1905? – fl. 1 October 2016) was an American supercentenarian claimant.
Biography
John William Douglas claimed that he was born in South Carolina, United States on 2 August 1905. His 1910 United States Federal Census lists his birth year in 1905 but his 1920 United States Federal Census lists his birth year in 1904. His father John Douglas was born 20 Nov 1885 and died 16 Sept 1971. His mother maiden name was Marsha Kollock born 16 Aug 1885 died 16 July 1971. His sister Lula Douglas was born 10 October 1908 and died 5 May 1985. His brother Frank Douglas born 4 July 1916 died 15 March 1986.
John William Douglas was last reported to be alive 1 October 2016 at the claimed age of 111/112 years and 59 days when he lived in Chesterfield, South Carolina.
