Johnnie "Johnny" Collier (2 September 1913 – 15 December 2023) was an American supercentenarian whose age is validated by the Gerontology Research Group (GRG). He was the third-oldest known living man in the United States, behind Francis Zouein and Otis Randall at the time of his death.

Biography[]

Johnnie Collier was born in Clayton, Tunica, Mississippi, USA on 2 September 1913 to Abraham "Abe" Collier and Ardella Collier.

On 16 October 1940, he was enlisted in the U.S. Army in Maud, Mississippi and was fought in world war II, he was 27 and 5 foot 10 inches when he drafted himself, Johnnie came back home safe and sound when the war ended.

Between 1945 and 1950, Johnnie married Pankie B. Collier (1909–1994).

When Johnnie turned 100 in 2013 he moved to the Tunica Nursing Home in Tunica, Mississippi.

In September 2023, he celebrated his 110th birthday and became a supercentenarian.

Johnnie Collier died in Tunica, Mississippi, USA on 15 December 2023 at the age of 110 years, 104 days. He was an uncle, father, grandfather and great grandfather (possibly great great grandfather also). He was nicknamed "Uncle Fat" by family. When he died Major McDonald became the oldest living man in Mississippi
