Jose Manuel Polanco Tineo [Spanish: José] (born 25 May 1914), also known as Vilan, is a Dominican Republic centenarian who is currently the oldest known (documented) living man in Dominican Republic.
Biography
Jose Manuel Polanco Tineo was born in Dominican Republic on 25 May 1914, the son of Manuel de Jesus Polanco Lizardo and Isabel Tineo Brito. His maternal grandparents Felipe Tineo and Micaela Brito. He was baptized in Santiago de los Caballeros, Dominican Republic on 26 December 1914 by Jesus Maria Cruz and Candida Cruz.
He married Belen Diaz and had five children. Polanco Tineo worked as an employee of the Railroad that traveled from Puerto Plata to Moca, was manufacturer of the Guay Mama de Gurabo flip flops, and was a private employee for 36 years in the Pepsi Cola company.
As of May 2022, he has one living child Eusebia Tineo, 13 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren, and three great-great-grandchildren.
Polanco Tineo currently lives in Gurabo, Santiago, Dominican Republic, at the age of 108 years, 43 days.
