Josepha Pomares Camargo (21 April 1911 – 18 June 2024) was a Brazilian supercentenarian whose age is currently unvalidated by the Gerontology Research Group (GRG). At the time of her death, she was the oldest living person in the State of Parana.
Biography[]
Josepha Pomares Camargo was born in Porto Alegre, Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil on 21 April 1911.
In April 2021, she celebrated her 110th birthday and became a supercentenarian.
Josepha Pomares Camargo died in Sao Jose dos Pinhais, Parana, Brazil on 18 June 2024 at the age of 113 years, 58 days. At the time of her death, she was the fourth-oldest living person in Brazil, after Inah Canabarro Lucas, Izabel Rosa Pereira, and Yolanda Beltrao de Azevedo.
