Jozef Plawski [Polish: Józef Pławski] (9 May 1909 – 9 April 2017) was a Polish centenarian who was the oldest living man in Poland between years 2016-2017.
Biography[]
Jozef Plawski was born on 9 May 1909 in present-day Belarus. He survived two world wars; during the World War II, he was relocated to Germany for the forced labour. He lived in Gorzow Wielkopolski, Lubuskie Voivodeship. At the time of his death on 9 April 2017 one month shy of his 108th birthday, he was the oldest living man in Poland.
