Jozefa Bak [Polish: Józefa Bąk] (4 February 1905 – 10 June 2014) was a Polish centenarian who was the oldest recognized living person in Poland.
Biography
Jozefa Bak was born in the village of Wolica, present-day Swietokrzyskie Voivodeship, Poland, on 4 February 1905. She became the oldest living person in Poland, following the death of Aleksandra Dranka on 29 April 2014. Bak was a resident of the city of Kielce, the capital of Swietokrzyskie Voivodeship.
Jozefa Bak died in Kielce, Swietokrzyskie, Poland on 10 June 2014 at the age of 109 years, 126 days. After her passing, the title of Poland's oldest living person was taken by Jadwiga Mlynek of Kalisz.
