Juana Jesús del Rosario Urbina Franchi (31 October 1914 – 1 May 2024) was a Venezuelan centenarian who was the oldest known living person in Venezuela at the time of her death.
Biography[]
Juana Urbina Franchi was born on 31 October 1914, in Río Chico, Miranda, Venezuela. On 20 February 1941, she married Francisco Pérez Rivas (born 1907) in Santa Rosalía Parish in Caracas. The couple had a daughter, Diana.
She became the oldest known living person in Venezuela, following the death of 114-year-old Juan Vicente Perez Mora on 2 April 2024.
Urbina Franchi died on 1 May 2024 in Rio Chico, Miranda, Venezuela, at the age of 109 years, 183 days. Following her death, then 109-year-old Juan Mijares-Camargo became the oldest known living person in Venezuela.
