Julia Odom (9 March 1895 – 17 March 2005) was a validated American supercentenarian.
Biography[]
Julia Odom was born in Mississippi, USA, on 9 March 1895. In 1933, she and her husband moved to Gladewater, Texas, where they ran a small country store.
In March 2005, Odom celebrated her 110th birthday and became a supercentenarian. For the occasion of her 110th birthday, the mayor of Gladewater proclaimed 9 March as "Julia Odom Day".
At the time of her 110th birthday, Odom had three children, five grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren, four great-great-grandchildren, and seven great-great-great-grandchildren.
Odom died in Gladewater, Texas, USA, on 17 March 2005, at the age of 110 years, 8 days.
