Albin Juhana "Jussi" Leskinen (1 May 1901 – 28 February 2010) was a Finnish centenarian who was the oldest living man (and person) in Finland for four months until his death.
Biography[]
Jussi Leskinen was born in Sääminki, Southern Savonia, Finland on 1 May 1901. On 10 October 2009, he became the oldest man and person alive in Finland after the death of Seinäjoki's Viljo Kekola.
Jussi Leskinen died in Rantasalmi, Southern Savonia, Finland on 28 February 2010 at the age of 108 years, 303 days. Following his death, Aino Yrttimaa, then aged 106, became Finland's oldest person, while 104 year-old Vilho Maenpaa became the oldest man in Finland. Discounting the disputed case of Andrei Kuznetsoff, Leskinen was, and still is as of 2022, the third-oldest man ever to die in Finland.
