Kameni Nakamura [Japanese: 仲村亀二] (3 October 1894 – 20 May 2004) was a Japanese centenarian who was the oldest living man in Japan at the time of his death.

Biography

Kameni Nakamura was born in Okinawa Prefecture, Japan on 3 October 1894. He underwent cancer surgery twice.

Following the death of Yukichi Chuganji (who was five and a half years older than him) on 28 September 2003, Nakamura became the oldest living man in Japan.

Kameni Nakamura died of senility in a hospital in Sashiki, Okinawa Prefecture, Japan on 20 May 2004, at the age of 109 years, 230 days. He was succeeded as Japan's oldest living man by Minsho Ozawa.
