Karamfila Stoyanova (Bulgarian: Карамфила Стоянова; 4 September 1903 – 26 May 2014) was a Bulgarian supercentenarian who was, at the time of her death, the oldest living person in Bulgaria. Her age is validated by the Gerontology Research Group (GRG). She is also be the oldest known person to have ever died in Bulgaria.

Early life[]
Karamfila was born in the village of Frolosh, Kyustendil Province, Principality of Bulgaria (present-day Bulgaria) on 4 September 1903. Some of her brothers, and sisters lived to be more than 90. She had six children: three sons, and three daughters.
Later life[]
In the 1943, the family moved close to the Danube River where she raised her children, and worked in the field. In the 1950s, she suffered from tuberculosis. In 1966, her son Ivan bought the house in the village of Nikolovo, Ruse Province, and invited his mother to live there. She was pasturing the lambs until the age of 102.
She lived in the village of Nikolovo, Ruse Province with her son, Ivan, and daughter-in-law, Margarita. In 2012, she had 95-years-old sister. Karamfila was able to read without glasses. At the end of her life, she had 10 grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, and three great-great-grandchildren. Following the death of 109-year-old Velika Sabeva on 6 February 2012, she became the oldest known living person in Bulgaria.
In September 2013, she turned 110 as the first Bulgarian person to become a supercentenarian.
Karamfila Stoyanova died in the village of Nikolovo, Ruse Province, Bulgaria on 26 May 2014 at the age of 110 years, 264 days. Following the her death, then 107-year-old Gyulbie Yumer became the oldest known living person in Bulgaria.
