Kate Snyder (née Cosad; 2 December 1877 – 9 November 1988) was an American supercentenarian whose age is validated by the Gerontology Research Group (GRG).

Biography

Kate Snyder was born as Kate Cosad in Cosad, New York, United States on 2 December 1877. Her parents were Charles W. Cosad and Anor Augusta Collamer. She married William Hasbrouck Snyder and they had 1 child.

She worked as a teacher and wrote a treatise entitled "How to Manage a Husband and Family." A gifted athlete, she played basketball and cycled to a high standard.

Kate Snyder died in Winter Park, Orange, Florida, United States on 9 November 1988 at the age of 110 years, 343 days.
