Katharina Hagemeyer (4 August 1908 – 12 July 2020) was an unvalidated German supercentenarian who may have been the oldest living person in Germany. She is currently unvalidated.
Biography[]
Katharina ('Käthe') Hagemeyer was born in Hohenlimburg, Westphalia (Prussia) on 4 August 1908. She went to Milpse where she became a trained hotel professional. Later she worked in lots of hotels and households in different German regions.
She never married nor had children. Until her death, she lived in a retirement home enjoying daily telephone contact to her niece‘s family.
At the age of 111, Hagemeyer is the oldest living person of Hagen ever.
Following the death of Mathilde Mange on 28 October 2019, Katharina Hagemeyer may have become the oldest living person in Germany.
Hagemeyer died in Hagen, North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany on 12 July 2020 at the age of 111 years, 343 days.
