Kathe (German: Käthe) Wulf (23 March 1902 – 19 June 2013) was a German supercentenarian who was Germany’s second oldest living person since the passing of Else Assmann on 15 February 2013 until her own death on 19 June 2013. Her age is validated by the Gerontology Research Group (GRG).

Biography

Kathe Wulf was born on 23 March 1902. Her 110th birthday was reported by the nursing home’s newsletter in May 2012. She had been living there since 1992.

Reportedly, Kathe Wulf was living secuded and was not widely known. She passed away on 19 June 2013 at age 111 years, 88 days without any official recognition whereas she had been the oldest living citizen of Hesse. Since the passing of Else Assmann she had also been Germany’s second oldest living person behind Gertrud Henze.
