Katsue Kurimoto [Japanese: 栗本カツヱ] (20 March 1907 – 22 November 2020) was a Japanese supercentenarian whose age is validated by the Gerontology Research Group (GRG).
Biography[]
Kurimoto was born in Tokushima Prefecture, Japan, on 20 March 1907. Following the death of Kura Bingo on 31 October 2019, she became the oldest living person in Nara Prefecture. Her age was verified by Japan’s MHLW, Yumi Yamamoto, Fabrizio Villatoro and Yu Li, and validated by the GRG on 25 October 2020.
Kurimoto died in Gose, Nara Prefecture, Japan on 22 November 2020 at the age of 113 years, 247 days.
