Kikue Taira (born 26 April 1910) is a Japanese supercentenarian whose age is currently unvalidated by Gerontology Research Group (GRG).
Biography
Kikue Taira was born in Japan on 26 April 1910. She is the younger sister of Kame Ganeko (10 April 1905 – 18 October 2019). Together they are the oldest known pair of siblings (combined age) in history. She and Kame Ganeko are the second ever known supercentenarian sister pair.
In April 2020, she celebrated her 110th birthday. In September 2020, Taira was reported as the 7th oldest person in Okinawa.
Kikue Taira currently lives in Yomitan, Okinawa prefecture, Japan at the age of 113 years, 358 days.
