Kiyoshi Igarashi [Japanese: 五十嵐清] (2 August 1897 – 23 February 2009) was a validated Japanese supercentenarian.

Biography

Kiyoshi Igarashi was born in Japan on 2 August 1897. He was from Hokkaido prefecture. He was the penultimate man born in 1897 to pass away, behind Jiroemon Kimura. His case was added to the GRG database on 22 November 2007. He died in Hokkaido Prefecture on 23 February 2009 aged 111 years, 205 days. He was the oldest man ever from Hokkaido Prefecture until his age was surpassed by Tanekichi Onishi
