Komatsu Takenaka [Japanese: 竹中コマツ] (7 August 1902 – July 2013) was a Japanese supercentenarian whose age has been validated by the Gerontology Research Group (GRG).
Biography[]
Komatsu Takenaka was born in Japan on 7 August 1902. In September 2008, she was reported to be the oldest living person in Sakurai.
Following the death of 111-year-old Kinu Mori in December 2012, Takenaka became the oldest living person in Nara Prefecture.
Komatsu Takenaka died in Sakurai, Nara Prefecture, Japan in July 2013, at the age of 110 years, 328-358 days. Following her death, a 110-year-old anonymous woman became the oldest living person in Nara Prefecture.
