Kou Inabayashi [Japanese: 稲林こう] (20 December 1898 – 27 February 2009) was a Japanese supercentenarian whose age is validated by the Gerontology Research Group (GRG).
Biography[]
Kou Inabayashi was born in Japan on 20 December 1898. Following the death of 109-year-old Haru Ogoshi on 25 December 2007, she became the oldest living person in Fukushima Prefecture.
Inabayashi's age was verified by Japan’s MHLW and Stefan Gelow, and (posthumously) validated by the GRG on 1 April 2009.
Kou Inabayashi died in Koriyama City, Fukushima Prefecture, Japan on 27 February 2009, at the age of 110 years, 69 days.
