Koyumi Inoue (Japanese: 井上こゆみ; 18 July 1895 – 12 July 2006) was a Japanese supercentenarian whose age has been validated by the Gerontology Research Group (GRG).
Biography[]
Inoue was born in Kanzaki Village (present-day city of Yamagata), Gifu Prefecture, Japan, on 18 July 1895.
On 31 May 2004, following the death of 109-year-old Ito Suzuki, Inoue became the oldest living person in Gifu Prefecture. Her age was verified by Japan’s MHLW, Ken Matsuoka and Tomoko Adachi, and validated by the GRG on 15 October 2005.
Inoue died in Neomatsuda, Motosu, Gifu Prefecture, Japan, on 12 July 2006, at the age of 110 years, 359 days.
