Krsto Vojvodic [Montenegrin; Крсто Војводић] (13 September 1906 – 22 November 2015) was a Montenegrin centenarian who was the oldest living person in Montenegro at the time of his death.

Biography[]

Krsto Vojvodic was born in the mountain village of Gluhi Do, municipality of Bar, Principality of Montenegro (present-day Montenegro) on 13 September 1906.

Despite the difficult living conditions, clean air, healthy food and life on the mountain were the recipe for his longevity.

Since he never had a pension, he was forced to engage in agriculture until he was 100 years old. For the last 10 years, he has spent his days with his son Slobodan and daughter Gospava.

He became the oldest known living person in Montenegro, following the death of 109-year-old Fahrija Mucic on 16 August 2012.

Vojvodic died in the village of Gluhi Do, Bar, Montenegro on 22 November 2015 at the age of 109 years, days. Following the his death, then 106-year-old Bozo Colovic became the oldest known living person in Montenegro.
