Larry E. Lewis (21 June 1867 - 1 February 1974) was an American centenarian, assistant for Harry Houdini, magician, banquet waiter, athlete, jogger and circus performer.
Biography[]
According to his obituary- Larry Lewis was born in Arizona, United States on 21 June 1867. His parents were Jewish emigrants. Every day at 4 a.m., Larry runs 6.7 miles in 37 minutes through golden gate park. He is also a full-time Banquet Waiter and a magician. Even his birthday can't stop him from working out. He works in the circus and performed the "Dare Devil" as said in a newspaper. Larry died of cancer on 1 February 1974 in San Francisco, California, United States at the age of 106 years, 225 days. According to the records and other information- Larry was Harry Houdini's assistant and stand-in. In 1950, Larry lived with his wife Henrietta M Lewis at 1850 Fulton Street (Apartment One) in San Francisco, California.
