Laura Adelle Jobe (née Davis; 5 January 1875 – 21 June 1985) was a validated American supercentenarian.
Biography[]
Laura Jobe was born as Laura Adelle Davis in Kosciusko, Mississippi, United States on 5 January 1875. Her father was Martin Davis. When she was eight, she moved with her family to Gatewood, Texas.
On 22 April 1891, she married Sam W. Jobe in Baird, Texas. The couple later moved to the town Putnam and had five children in total. Laura became a widow in 1952.
She died in Baird, Callahan, Texas, United States on 21 June 1985 at the age of 110 years, 167 days.
