Laurie Webb (born 6 May 1924) is a Welsh retired actor known for his roles in television series such as Doctor Who, Paul Temple and Doomwatch.
Doctor Who[]
Webb played Mr. Ollis in the 10th anniversary serial The Three Doctors (1972–1973).[1]
He is the oldest living person associated to Doctor Who since Arnold Yarrow's death in December 2024.[2] He is also the ninth individual associated with the Whoniverse to become a centenarian after Zohra Sehgal, Olaf Pooley, Sam Beazley, Peggy Batchelor, Earl Cameron, Yarrow, Eileen Winterton and Lewis Alexander, as well as the seventh longest-lived.
Personal life[]
Webb, an avid golfer, celebrated his centenary by playing nine holes of golf at Pyrford Lakes Golf Club as a fundraiser for Alzheimer's Society.[3]
