Laurinda da Conceicao [Portuguese: Conceição] (18 May 1904 - 9 November 2015) was a Portuguese supercentenarian whose age was validated by the Gerontology Research Group (GRG) in 2023.

Biography[]

Laurinda da Conceicao was born in Coelhosa, in the parish of Lagarteira, municipality of Ansiao, Leiria District, Portugal, on 18 May 1904.

At some point in her life she married and later she became a widow.

At age 111, she was recognized as the oldest living person in Portugal in the local newspaper "Serras de Ansião". Possibly she had this title since the death of 111-year-old Maria Dolores Ferreira, on 31 July 2013.

Laurinda da Conceicao died in the same place where she was born, in Coelhosa, Ansiao, Leiria District, Portugal, on 9 November 2015, at the age of 111 years and 175 days.
