Levenia Mary Johnson (15 July 1866 – 10 February 1974) was a Canadian centenarian. Her grandson, Arnold Hawkins, died at the age of 110 years, 231 days, giving them a combined age of over 218 years.
Biography
Levenia Mary Johnson was born in Deer Island, New Brunswick, Canada on 15 July 1866 to parents Jarvis Johnson and Eliza Ann Bickerton. She was the fifth born of seven children. She married John Naylor Hawkins on 29 July 1887, and had three children, of which two were still alive at the time of her 107th birthday.
On her 107th birthday, she received letters of congratulations from Fred McCain, MP for Carleton-Charlotte, and William Cockburn, Minister of Fisheries and Environment. She was also visited by James N. Tucker, MLA for Charlotte.
Levenia Mary Johnson died in Beaver Harbour, New Brunswick, Canada on 10 February 1974 at the age of 107 years, 210 days.
