Ligia Polanco (10 July 1910? – 25 December 2020) was a Colombian supercentenarian claim whose age is currently unvalidated by the Gerontology Research Group (GRG).
Biography[]
Ligia Polanco claimed to have been born in Valle del Cauca, Colombia on 10 July 1910. She had 10 siblings, of which only a 92-year-old brother still alive (as of July 2020). She worked as farmer and later domestic employee in different homes. She married twice, but had no children.
In July 2020, she celebrated her claimed 110th birthday.
Polanco died in Pereira, Risaralda, Colombia on 25 December 2020 at the claimed age of 110 years, 168 days.
