Lillian Spencer Irby (12 December 1900 (claimed 1899) – 15 March 2014) was an American supercentenarian whose age was validated by the Gerontology Research Group (GRG) in 2021.
Biography
Lillian Irby was born in Crystal Springs, Mississippi, USA on 12 December 1900 (claimed 1899). She moved to Chicago at an early age. She married Bill Irby and had one daughter Rosena Parker (born 28 December 1920). She returned to Mississippi when her husband died in 1988.
In her 111th birthday, she had two grandchildren (including Lynn Winston) and five great-grandchildren. She could be the oldest living person from Mississippi since the death of Nettie Whittington on 24 November 2012.
Lillian Irby died in Jackson, Mississippi, USA on 15 March 2014 at the age of 113 (claimed 114) years, 93 days.
