Lillie Dorough (née Westmoreland; 12 September 1880 – 6 March 1992) was an American supercentenarian whose age is validated by the Gerontology Research Group (GRG).

Biography

Dorough was born as Lillie Westmoreland in Royston, Franklin County, Georgia, to parents Ceborne and Elizabeth Westmoreland. Ceborne, a Civil War veteran who lived to be 95 years. As a child, she played baseball with the soon to be professional player Ty Cobb.

She married Travis Dorough on 6 March 1900. The couple had six children. She became a widow in 1940.

Dorough died in Decatur, Georgia, USA on 6 March 1992 at the age of 111 years, 176 days, exactly 92 years after she got married.
