Lillie Holden (neé Rochelle; 14 December 1887 – 11 November 1999) was an American supercentenarian whose age has been validated by the Gerontology Research Group.
Biography[]
She was born on 14 December 1887 in Hickman, Tennessee, USA. Her parents were Francis Marion Rochelle and Lillian Ann Virginia (neé Hughes) Rochelle. She married William Thomas Holden in 1905. The couple had seven children. She was widowed in 1970.
There was also a history of longevity in her family: her sister Tommie Mabry (1904–2002) lived to be 98, her daughter Mary Elease Flowers (1906–2004) lived to be 98, her daughter Ona Susie Church (1910–2010) lived to be 100, her daughter Ella Alice Garner (1912–2010) lived to be 98.
She died on 11 November 1999 in Hampshire, Tennessee, USA at the age of 111 years, 332 days.
