Lilly Jane Barnes (née Pittman; 5 November 1875 – 6 May 1986) was an American supercentenarian whose age is currently pending validation by the Gerontology Research Group (GRG).
Biography[]
Lilly Barnes was born as Lilly Jane Pittman in Robeson County, North Carolina, United States on 5 November 1875. Her parents were Evander Daniel Pittman (1844–1927) and Sarepta Amelia Thompson (1852–1930).
She married Luther Belder Barnes (1874–1964). They had at least one child, Bahnson Neil Barnes (1903–1996).
Lilly Barnes died in Lumberton, Robeson County, North Carolina, United States on 6 May 1986 at the age of 110 years and 182 days.
