Lois Inez Boston (née Wallin; 10 May 1913 – 7 August 2025) was an American supercentenarian whose age is validated by the Gerontology Research Group (GRG). At the time of her death, she was the oldest known living person in the U.S. state of Kansas and Oklahoma (until 2024).
Biography[]
Lois Boston was born on 10 May 1913 in Oklahoma, USA. She attended Goodwell High School and married her husband, Charlie Boston, on Christmas Eve in 1936, their marriage lasting 70 years. Her and her husband owned the Boston Furniture store in Guymon, Oklahoma. She was an active player of golf until she was 83.
On her 109th birthday in 2022, the Mayor of Guymon proclaimed the week of 8–14 May as Lois Boston Week in her honor.
In May 2023, Boston celebrated her 110th birthday and became a supercentenarian.
In 2024, Boston moved to Hugoton, Kansas, where she became the oldest known living person in the state.
Boston died in Hugoton, Kansas, USA on 7 August 2025 at the age of 112 years, 89 days.
