Longevity is based on long lives made by certain people. There are certain people who have lived over 100 and approximately 1 in 1000 of them make 110. One woman named Jeanne Calment (1875–1997) lived up to the age of 122 years, 164 days. The oldest undisputed validated man was Jiroemon Kimura (1897–2013) who died at the age of 116 years, 54 days.
For other people who have claimed ages between 115-130 see Longevity claims.
