Lottie Lenore Sullivan (née Hassell; 8 March 1909 – 28 October 2019) was an American supercentenarian whose age is validated by the Gerontology Research Group.
Biography[]
Sullivan was born to Thomas and Henrietta Hassell in Denson Springs, Texas, USA, on 8 March 1909. She was the 13th of 15 children. When she was in second grade, the family moved to Beulah, Texas. She played basketball in high school. At the age of 19, she married Adam Sullivan, and the couple had four children. Adam died in 1979.
At the age of 95, Sullivan fell while travelling up some steps with groceries. As a result, she broke several bones and had to have 19 staples in her head. A few years later, she moved to Carthage, Texas, to be near her grandson. She died on 28 October 2019 at the age of 110 years, 234 days.
