Louise Senna (née Granillo; 19 August 1901 – 1/28 October 2014) was an American supercentenarian whose age is currently unvalidated by the Gerontology Research Group (GRG).
Biography[]
Louise Senna was born in Kernville, California, USA on 19 August 1901. Her parents were Francisco Granillo and Dolores Valenzuela. Her family moved to Hanford, California in 1904, she attended schools in Laton, Hardwick and Hanford, due to her father being a farmer they moved around to different places.
At the age of 20, she married Tony Senna and had one daughter: Dolores Senna (born c.1928). For most of her life she stayed home to raise her daughter, she had a job during World War II in a factory making parts and tools for the military. She was widowed in 1969.
Senna died in Hanford, California, USA between 1 and 28 October 2014, aged between 113 years, 43 and 70 days. She was survived by her daughter Dolores Senna, her/provider friend Mollie Palacios, her caregiver Daisy Montijo, her dog "Gary" and numerous nieces and nephews.
