Louisiana Hines (née Summerlin) (13 April 1899 – 1 February 2013) was a validated American supercentenarian.
Louisiana Hones was born in Alabama, USA, on 13 April 1899. Hines was, at the time of her death aged 113 years, 294 days, believed to be the oldest living African-American, and second-oldest living person in the United States (behind Elsie Thompson). However, the verification of Gertrude Weaver (1898–2015) meant that she never was the oldest living African American. She also claimed to have been born in 1898, but according to earlier records she was born in 1899, which is her validated birth year.
