Lovisa Vilhelmina Svensson (née Pettersdotter) 20 November 1853 – 17 February 1963) was a Swedish centenarian, who at the time of her death, was the oldest Swedish person ever.
Biography
Lovisa Svensson was born in Marback, Jonkoping, Sweden on 20 November 1853.
She married the farmer Karl Svensson who used the farm Måludden. They get six childrens.
Lovisa Svensson spent her last years in a nursing home after a bone fracture. She died in Jonkoping, Sweden on 17 February 1963 at the age of 109 years, 89 days. She was the first Swedish person to have reached the age of 109, as well as the last surviving person born in 1853. Her Swedish longevity record was broken in 1975 by Anna Matilda Johansson, who after surpassing Svensson's final age, died just five days later.
