Luke McGhee (23 March 1876? – 5 February 1987) was an an American supercentenarian claimant whose age is currently unvalidated by the Gerontology Research Group (GRG).
Biography[]
Luke McGhee claimed to have been born in Hunter Station, Montgomery, Alabama, USA on 23 March 1876. He had 12 children.
In March 1986, celebrated his claimed 110th birthday with his wife of 72 years Nancy McGhee (aged 92).
Luke McGhee died in Montgomery, Alabama on 5 February 1987, at the claimed age of 110 years, 319 days. He was survived by his wife, six sons, three daughters, 42 grandchildren, 82 great-grandchildren, 13 great-great-grandchildren, one sister-in-law, one son-in-law, seven daughters-in-law, many nieces, nephews, cousins, and other relatives and friends.
