Mabel Agnes "Mamie" Wilson (18 March 1903 – 11 August 2014) was an American supercentenarian whose age is validated by the Gerontology Research Group (GRG). She was one of the oldest known people in New Jersey at the time of her death.
Biography[]
Mabel Wilson was born in Pennsylvania, USA on 18 March 1903. She moved to an assisted living facility in 2011.
In March 2013, Wilson celebrated her 110th birthday and became a supercentenarian.
Mabel Wilson died in Deptford Township, New Jersey, USA on 11 August 2014 (12 August according to her obituary) at the age of 111 years, 146 days. She was predeceased in death by one daughter Ethel Coy and one son-in-law Russel Coy. She was survived by two nephews George Lee, Sr. and Richard Lee; two nieces Florence Lee-Dockins and Dr. Mabel lee; and one great-niece Tami Lee.
Wilson's age was verified by Anson Davis and Waclaw Jan Kroczek, and (posthumously) validated by the GRG on 13 May 2016.
