Mae Ringer (née Slagle; 26 February 1882 – 16 February 1994) was an American supercentenarian whose age is currently unvalidated by the Gerontology Research Group (GRG).
Biography[]
Mae Ringer was born as Mae Slagle in Vinton, Ohio, USA on 26 February 1882 as the second child of parents Thomas and Augusta (née Rhodes) Slagle. She married Charles W. Ringer on Christmas Eve 1904[1] and had two children with him: Wava (born 11 October 1906)[2] and Harold (born 1913). She and her family were living in Van Wert, Ohio at the time of the 1920 US census.[3] Charles Ringer died on 16 February 1939[4] after 34 years of marriage.
Mae Ringer died in Ohio, USA on 16 February 1994 at the age of 111 years, 355 days.[5]
