Lydia Mae Schrock (1 May 1904 – 18 July 2014) was an American supercentenarian whose age was validated by the Gerontology Research Group (GRG) in 2021.
Biography[]
Schrock was born in Congerville, Illinois, USA on 1 May 1904. Her parents were Jonathan and Naomi (née Gerber) Schrock.
Schrock lived in Altadena, California from 1949 to 1957 where she was employed as an accountant for Osogood Candy. She was also a retired accountant for Schrock Brothers Company in Congerville.
Schrock was baptized on 25 May 1919 in the Mackinaw river at the Congerville Apostolic Christian Church. She was also a member of that church.
Schrock died in Eureka, Illinois, USA on 18 July 2014 at the age of 110 years, 78 days. She was survived by numerous generations of nieces and nephews.
