Manuel Ferreira (31 October 1913 – 21 September 2022) was a Portuguese centenarian who was the oldest known living man in Portugal at the time of his death.
Biography[]
Manuel Ferreira was born in Olhalvo, Alenquer, Lisbon District, Portugal on 31 October 1913. His parents were Inacio Ferreira (1883–1968) and Maria Cipriana (1882–1970). His father died at the age of 85 and his mother at the age of 87.
He became the oldest known living man in Portugal, following the death of Vitorino Fernandes of Porto on 13 July 2022.
Ferreira died in Penafirme da Mata, Olhalvo, Alenquer, Lisbon District, Portugal on 21 September 2022, at the age of 108 years, 325 days.
