Marcelle Madeleine Adda (née Samuel) (3 June 1905 – 22 March 2017) was a French supercentenarian whose age is validated by the European Supercentenarian Organisation (ESO).
Biography
Marcelle was born in Paris on 3 June 1905. She married in 1932 and had three children. After her husband passed away in 1968, she worked as a cashier at historical monuments.
Adda resided in the "Le Fort Manoir" nursing home, 5th arrondissement of Paris, Île de France region, France until she passed away on 22 March 2017, aged 111 years, 292 days. Adda’s age was verified by Cyril Depoudent, Jimmy Lindberg, Laurent Toussaint, and Les Grands Centenaires Français, and validated by the ESO on 9 May 2021. The validation was later accepted by LongeviQuest (LQ).
