Eva Marguerite Cooper (née White; 29 January 1910 – 5 February 2021) was an American supercentenarian whose age is currently unvalidated by the Gerontology Research Group (GRG).


Cooper was born as Eva Marguerite White in Aliceville, Alabama, on 29 January 1910 as one of eight children born to George Bryant White and Eunice G. White. In 1925, she moved to Canton, Mississippi; four years later, she moved to Jackson, Mississippi, and worked for the Mississippi State Department of Education before becoming secretary to the Superintendent of Schools and Board of Education of Jackson Public Schools, a career which spanned more than three decades.

In 1931, Cooper married Shelby Cason Cooper, and the couple had one son, Kit. Cooper was a regular attendee of the Broadmoor Baptist Church, of which she was also a member. Her husband died in 1965 after 34 years of marriage. After living in Jackson for over 60 years, she moved to Shreveport, Louisiana.

Cooper died on 5 February 2021 at the age of 111 years, 7 days. She had outlived her parents and all of her siblings, and was survived by her son Dr. Kit Cooper, three grandchildren, and nine great-grandchildren.
