Maria Angeles Fernandez Osete [Spanish: María Ángeles Fernández] (15 May 1910 – 20 February 2021) was a Spanish supercentenarian whose age was validated by the Gerontology Research Group (GRG) in 2023.
Biography[]
Fernandez Osete was born in Cazorla, Andalusia, Spain on 15 May 1910. She moved to Begur, where she worked in a hotel. She married and had four children.
In May 2020, Fernandez Osete celebrated her 110th birthday. At the time of her birthday, she had 14 grandchildren, many great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. At that time, she was living with her daughter Maria and her son-in-law Francisco. She died in Begur, Catalonia, Spain, on 20 February 2021 at the age of 110 years, 281 days.
