Cabanes was born in Ordino, Andorra on 3 July 1913. She married Lluís Pifarré Gasset, who died at age 104. The couple are the two oldest known people ever from Andorra.
She died in Andorra on 15 January 2021 at the age of 107 years, 192 days.
